BOTSWANA - Tuli Safari


The accommodation for the Tuli Safari is a mixture of luxury tented, basic wilderness camp and African traditional camp. Each camp is unique make the safari experience quite authentic and different.


  • First and last two nights at the comfortable Two Mashatus camp.
  • One night at Bojele River Camp with rustic cabin bedrooms and shared bathroom facilities.
  • Two nights at the Kgotla camp“sleeping under the stars”
  • One night in Liana wilderness camp.

TWO MASHATUS CAMP is nestled in the shade of a  Mashatu tree. Two traditionally built Lala palm rondavels serve as dining area and lounge. Accommodation is in large A frame  tents pitched on teak platforms, with en-suite bathrooms. Each tent is private and positioned in the shade of a tree with a small deck area on which to relax during the afternoons.


MAJELE RIVER CAMP has Rustic cabins set atop the Majele River.  A beautiful thatched lapa dining and rest area set in the shade of a thicket old Mashatu trees. Accommodation is made up of two twin room units with each unit sharing a bathroom separate flushing toilet and secluded outdoor showers. As well as a large fixed site tent with adjoining outdoor bathroom.


The 'KGOTLA' CAMP is an old tribal court from a nearby community that was relocated to the banks of the Motloutse River on the western periphery of Mashatu.  It is an open-air traditional African enclosure made up of leadwood logs.  Guests sleep on beds around a large blazing fire.


LIANA WILDERNESS CAMP is in the bush, set up specifically for each safari. Accommodation is in traditional safari “A” frame tents with comfortable full size beds, cotton sheets and duvets. Facilities include hot bucket showers and a “Bush-WC”. Meals are cooked over a camp fire.

For the ultimate iconic wildlife mobile riding safari; seven nights mobile safari in the Mashatu Game Reserve, Botswana. If you want to see wildlife in a wild part of Africa, do this safari at least once in your life. Experienced and over 12 year old riders only. Set dates throughout the year.


This safari covers approximately 120 miles over the course of the week. During rides enjoy exploring the  differing topography of the area: open bush, wooded riverine areas, wetlands, and strange rock formations home to large baobabs. Game is plentiful, so there is always something exciting to look at.  Rides are hosted by our qualified lead guides and their back up guides. Long extended canters are a feature of the safari. End each day at one of the beautiful welcoming camps.
